Your mom and I met with a friend for dinner last night. As usual, if you get two women together and mention a baby recently born, the conversation plummets into a horrible biological abyss about childbirth.
What cracked me up was Kristi Cihil's juxtaposition of getting a tattoo with childbirth.
At first, it is really painful getting a tattoo, the needles piercing the skin, the blood being wiped away, then later, looking at the final result, you say, "Ahhh that is so cute."
As you will learn, we have many odd, entertaining and fun friends. ;)
